Online fundraising for organisations

A supporter who trusts your work may want to help sustain it. Headless can show a donation route on your organisation hub, whether you take payments through a connected Stripe account or use an external donation page you already run.

The choice is practical: use connected payments when you want the donation flow on Headless, or keep your existing giving page and link to it.

Choose how donations reach you

With Stripe Connect, supporters can make a one-off contribution or set up a monthly donation. The charge is made for your connected organisation. Finish Stripe account setup and enable donations before this route can take payments.

If you already have a donation service, add an external link instead. Visitors follow that link to complete the payment there. NewsCord does not charge its donation platform fee on an external link; the service you choose may have its own fees.

Show the cost before you choose

Connected payments have a NewsCord platform fee and separate Stripe processing fees. Check the current pricing page before deciding which route suits your organisation, especially for small recurring gifts.

Explain to supporters where their money goes and keep the giving route consistent with your organisation's own fundraising information.

A practical way to begin

  1. 01

Choose connected payments or an external giving page.

  2. 02

If using Stripe, finish account onboarding and enable donations.

  3. 03

Review the public hub and make the giving link easy to identify.

Best for organisations that want the same public hub to explain their work and invite support. Payment readiness and fees vary by route, so inspect the current pricing and your payment account before launch.
