Let’s be entirely clear about why we have organized: we are fighting to shatter a murderous, decades-long siege. We are demanding absolute accountability for the systematic brutality inflicted upon the Palestinian people and their land. Gaza has been placed under a devastating chokehold, and the global powers-that-be have chosen complicity over humanity.
The Global Sumud Flotilla movement is not a passive charity project. This is a direct act of defiance.
We know that the machinery of oppression is interconnected. The same forces profiting from the destruction of Palestinian lives are the ones driving environmental devastation and political repression across the globe. They trade weapons, share tactics, and protect each other's empires.
But their cooperation is their weakness. If their cruelty is global, our resistance must be international. Our liberations are tied with a single knot: none of us are truly free until Palestine is free.
History shows that walls do not fall on their own; they fracture under the weight of relentless, organized pressure. Sumud; it is the quiet steadfastness, a resilience to endure, combined with the fierce courage to fight back. It is the refusal to let them erase a people, a culture, or a future.
