Campaign channel

File a complaint on an outlet's own form

Some newsrooms and public bodies take complaints only through a portal with a CAPTCHA or a login on it. Nothing can file those on somebody's behalf and pretend otherwise. This channel writes the supporter's complaint for them, then walks them through submitting it themselves.

Official form (Reuters / AP / CNN / other)1 credit per delivery

What it files

A personalised complaint, prepared for the supporter to submit on the official form.

To whom

Whichever body owns the form the campaign points at.

What the campaign supplies

  • The form URL.
  • The complaint template.
  • Optional walkthrough copy, worth writing against the real form's own labels.

What the supporter supplies

  • Their first and last name.
  • Their email address.
  • The submission itself, on the official form.

Consent

The supporter agrees that their complaint body and details are prepared for an official form submission they make themselves.

Credits per delivery

1 credit. One delivery is one supporter's copy, so a campaign that writes to three recipients on a supporter's behalf draws three deliveries.

How it is delivered

The success screen shows one card: a button that copies the message and opens the form in the same tap, three or four short hints, and a confirmation the supporter taps once they have sent it. That state survives a reload and a return from the form's own tab. A campaign published by an organisation is guided only, never filed automatically. Every supporter's copy is personalised from the campaign's template: the subject is rewritten for each send, and the body's arrangement varies per participant, so a thousand filings are not one document a thousand times.
