Each supporter's ward is resolved from their postcode and every councillor the council publishes a contact for gets a letter. A ward has more than one councillor, so one supporter usually writes to two or three people at once.

What the campaign supplies
- A subject line and the letter template.
What the supporter supplies
- Their first and last name.
- Their email address.
- A Great Britain postcode, which is what resolves the ward.
Consent
The supporter agrees that their letter and details go to the councillors resolved for their ward.
Credits per delivery
1 credit. One delivery is one supporter's copy, so a campaign that writes to three recipients on a supporter's behalf draws three deliveries.
How it is delivered
Each councillor's own name fills the letter, and the ward and council names fill in too. A ward with no verified contact yet is skipped cleanly rather than failing the submission. The greeting is rebuilt in code with the name the lookup returned, in the campaign's own wording, so no letter leaves addressed to a placeholder.
